What Is a 3P Triple Bottom Line Company

Original Source:  Small Business Chron

"The term “3P” refers to a business model developed to encourage social responsibility and sustainability among businesses worldwide. The corporations who adopt these standards are known as “triple bottom line,” or TBL, companies. This term is attributed to John Elkington, founder of the consulting firm SustainAbility, and author of "Cannibals with Forks: the Triple Bottom Line of 21st Century Business." The three Ps stand for "people, planet and profit."
