Given everything that's happened this year, it's likely that the goals you set for yourself at the beginning of the year have changed - and that's okay. No matter what you seek to accomplish, whether it's pushing ahead or navigating a new normal, SIG is here to help you start Q3 with a bang.

After a great week in Carlsbad, California, at the Fall Global Executive Summit last month, we are excited to bring you even more resources and connect you with a network of people to help you be your best. Take a dive into the Summit Anthology and Resource Guide to map your strategy for the coming year, catch up on some industry research, learn more about our partnerships with PeopleTicker, Spend Matters and TraDove, and check out one of the many webinars happening this month.
Summit Anthology and Resource Guide
Following each Summit, we publish an anthology that provides a snapshot of every Summit presentation and also includes speakers’ contact information if you’d like to follow up with them. The 2019 SIG Fall Global Executive Summit hosted over 40 keynote and breakout sessions.
This is a great resource for an overview of the content to share with your team members who were not able to attend and to demonstrate key takeaways and ROI to your executive team.
SIG’s last event of 2019 will take place in Toronto, Ontario at the BMO Institute for Learning. SIGnature Events are like mini-Summits, with ample time for networking with peers and provider thought leaders. There’s still time to register for this event, but space is limited and registration will be capped.
Here's your weekly briefing of thought leadership, networking events and training. We hope to see you at one of our new Regional SIGnature Events taking place across North America this year. Can't make it to an in-person event? Join us online for a webinar covering the latest trends, topics and solutions.
A Turn of Events in 2019
The new Regional SIGnature Events are designed as exciting, one-day “mini-Summits” to help you connect to one another on a deeper level, learn from each other and grow your professional network beyond your city limits. These events are always free for buy-side members and are built around team engagement. Director-level and above attendees will participate in an Executive Roundtable while your team spends the morning in a deep-dive learning exercise with an expert on a top-of-mind issue. Visit our website to learn more about what to expect, see who's speaking and when we'll be in a region near you!
When critical supply chain partners are financially weak, they become more likely to be the source of unpleasant surprises. Such supplier problems can damage a company’s brand reputation and sales. To avoid surprises, companies can leverage risk management strategies and predictive analytics to gain visibility into latent supply chain risks.
And just like that, it’s nearly the new year! With a few weeks left in 2018, you still have time to achieve the professional goals you set earlier in the year. Squeeze in some last-minute training by registering for a webinar, join us as a presenter at a regional SIGnature Event or Global Executive Summit, or consider becoming a contributor to Future of Sourcing Digital.
This webinar will focus on best practices for creating and executing a business case for a Procure-to-Pay (P2P) transformation.
Utilizing a case study that highlights the “flight plan” of Curtiss-Wright, a manufacturer that traces its origins back to the Wright Brothers, webinar attendees will learn how the company transformed its P2P process to arrive at a more strategic destination after discovering imbalanced resource allocation that led to procurement resources spending 80 percent of their time on just 5 percent of the total spend.
Looking to control and optimize your services spend more effectively? Join this webinar with Coupa for a deep dive into a comprehensive solution that includes advanced services and contingent workers.
You’ll learn how the right technology can streamline your services procurement process and see firsthand how the right solution can enable you to drive more adoption, accelerate your time to value and reduce costs.
