Strategic Sourcing Analyst
The Strategic Sourcing Analyst will support strategic sourcing and contract administration processes for all categories, in addition to supporting team reporting, category spend analysis and technology support. The Strategic Procurement team at Macy’s is responsible for collaboratively developing and implementing non-merchandise spend management strategies in support of Macy’s Inc.’s overall corporate strategy and the company’s focus on ongoing profit improvement. Strategic Procurement is responsible for sourcing, procurement, vendor diversity, spend analytics and travel management. Specifically, the sourcing team’s responsibilities include strategy and scoping, sourcing, negotiation, contracting, implementation, savings tracking and vendor management. Sourcing Specialist – Procurement
The position of Sourcing Specialist requires talented, experienced, professionals with good business acumen, legal acuity, product knowledge, project management and organization skills. These skills, combined with a suite of competencies designed to successfully navigate the enterprise and vendor community, are necessary to produce well-constructed, mid-complexity solutions and contracts containing sound financials, balanced risk and measurable vendor accountabilities. Applicants should understand the principals of procurement and supply management. This position requires strategic as well as tactical knowledge of the RFP/Process Improvement to promote a change in procedural compliance.
The Sourcing team plays a key role in supporting HERE´s business goals and strategy. In the role of Contract Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting with reviewing, preparing, negotiating and executing contract agreements with internal clients and suppliers. Your everyday will include developing and implementing the contract management processes including authorizing, approving, reporting and retaining documents. Eventually, you will own the contract management system and monitor contract compliance. The Director of Sourcing will play an active role in supporting and developing you within this role as part of a global HERE team of Sourcing professionals based in Berlin, Eindhoven and Chicago.
