How to Choose the Right Delivery Model
We understand that not every individual or organization is created equal, which is why our programs are not delivered on a one-size-fits-all model. Instead, to accommodate different preferences, cohort-based SIG University programs (CSP, CSMP, C3PRMP, CIAP, and CITNE) are offered online in two different delivery models, while other topic-based courses are offered self-paced. Below describes each of the delivery models:

Open Cohort Semester
- Offered at regular intervals throughout the year (see schedule below)
- Lessons are assigned weekly online via our Learning Management System (LMS)
- Discussion forums moderated each week of the program by expert faculty

Closed Cohort Semester
- Offered privately for teams of 20 or more and can start at any time
- Lessons are assigned at a frequency of your choosing online via our Learning Management System (LMS)
- Discussion forums can either be unmoderated or moderated by your own organization's leaders

Self-Paced Semester
- Topic-based courses (CPSP and RFx Response Mastery) are offered in this delivery model only
- Each learning path of the program is assigned upfront via our Learning Management System (LMS)
- Discussion forums are unmoderated

Future Open Cohort Semester Start Dates
SIG University recommends joining an open cohort semester whenever possible. Not only will students benefit from the classroom's discussion forum being moderated by our expert faculty, but they will also be able to network with classmates across functions and industries. This helps students learn how peers handle different sourcing or risk challenges in other organizations and it provides opportunities to build a stronger professional network and support system.
Open cohort semesters simulate a real classroom experience through engagement with faculty and classmates. Below is a listing of future open cohort semesters for all SIG University programs (CSP, CSMP, C3PRMP, and CIAP) that you can enroll in.
** 2024 dates will be announced in October **
