1. What is most important to your business stakeholders as it relates to the procurement function for acquisition of services?
2. What portion of your services spend portfolio is effectively managed? In other words, procurement is involved in sourcing, demand management, contracting before-the-fact, suppliers are managed to performance by procurement, etc., as opposed to spend just following a "compliant" process – e.g., spend on PO?
3. What are your organizational objectives as they relate to driving value through services spend – ie., savings? Risk mitigation? ROI on spend?
