Organizational Reporting Frameworks and Examples

This SIG member is looking to build quarterly, executive level reporting (CFO level) around Procurement, and is seeking examples and/or a framework.  

How does Procurement report on topics like category management (industry trends, spend/supplier trends, etc.),  value capture, contracts, risks, etc. to an executive audience?  How do you show thought leadership and strategic insight?
