I would like to hear from other companies that have modified their bidding methodologies so that bidding activities are more efficient and effective, particularly as it relates to the sourcing professional, business analyst and project manager. Instead of writing detailed business requirements leading to many RFP questions, are other companies using such things as user stories and vendor interviews to make their solution decision? I'd appreciate receiving information from such companies regarding their approach to the bidding process and the methodologies of the various roles assigned to the project (sourcing professional, business analyst and project manager).
