Join us for this keynote presentation from Mr. Ryan A. Murray, First Deputy Director, Mayor's Office of Contract Services, City of New York, who will discuss their transformation journey.
Mr. Murray manages an oversight and service agency responsible for $21 billion in procurement in FY17. NYC operates a federated model with an estimated 2,000 staff and evolving technology landscape. Mr. Murray leads the people & change practice, serves as the chief strategy officer, and guides the legislative/policy agenda for the Mayor's Office of Contract Services.
Mike Heeger is Head of Procurement for the Americas at Deutsche Bank where he is responsible for setting vendor strategy and delivering annual savings. He has global responsibility for purchasing all professional services including Business Consulting, Accounting Audit & Tax, Insurance, Benefits and Marketing.
Mike has over 25 years of experience in banking, capital markets and asset management including a decade as a consultant at ISG - TPI as a Director and KPMG / Bearing Point where he focused on large scale outsourcing projects and contract negotiations.
Mr. Heeger began his career in listed derivatives at Refco and was a member of the Chicago Board of Trade / CME.
Rob is the Global Head of Strategic Sourcing & Expense Management, and is responsible for helping the firm and each business unit drive down expenses. Additionally, he and his group structure and negotiate third-party contracts, with a focus on risk mitigation.
Rob joined Guggenheim Partners in 2012, and currently reports directly to one of Guggenheim’s founding partners, Tom Irvin.
Rob’s team is responsible for: Sourcing of Market Data, Technology, Corporate Services (Travel), Brand Marketing & Communications, Facilities, and Professional Services across the firm. The SSEM team is also responsible for conducting due diligence on all third-party vendors as part of its Vendor Risk Management program.
Prior to joining Guggenheim Partners, Rob headed up Technology Sourcing at Credit Suisse. He also held several management positions at Merrill Lynch, where he specialized in enterprise-wide global technology outsourcing contracts.
Rob is also the founder and chairman of an elite financial services sourcing group Sourcers on The Street™.
