Chief Procurement Officer
Westfield Insurance

Brian Roche is responsible for Westfield’s enterprise procurement function which includes the development and execution of source-to-pay programs including category management, third party risk management, operational procurement and process automation.

Roche joined Westfield in April 2015 from Citizens Bank, where he served in various leadership positions managing vendor risk, strategic sourcing events and technology, and training programs. Before that, he was Vice President, Senior Sourcing Strategist for Key Bank National Association. In all, he brings 20 years of procurement, financial and leadership experience to his position with Westfield.

Roche earned his graduate degree in Information Systems Management from Case Western Reserve University, and his undergraduate degree in Finance from Ohio University.

He is a former member of BITS, the technology policy division of the Financial Services Roundtable, an industry group with expertise on managing vendor risk, and served as a charter Steering Committee member to establish the Risk Management Association’s Vendor Management Roundtable.  He is also a current member of Sourcing Industry Group and provides thought leadership in other industry forums in emerging areas of supply chain management.

Dawn Tiura, CEO and President of SIG, SIG University and Future of Sourcing digital publication, has more than 26 years of leadership experience, with the past 22 years focused on the sourcing and outsourcing industry. In 2007, Dawn joined SIG as CEO, but has been active in SIG as a speaker and trusted advisor since 1999, bringing the latest developments in sourcing and outsourcing to SIG members. Prior to joining SIG, Dawn held leadership positions as CEO of Denali Group and before that as a partner in a CPA firm. Dawn is actively involved on a number of boards promoting civic, health and children's issues in the Jacksonville, Florida area. Dawn is a licensed CPA and has a BA from the University of Michigan and an MS in taxation from Golden Gate University. Dawn brings to SIG a culture of brainstorming and internal innovation.

About SIGnature Events

SIGnature Events are powerful one-day meetings in which buy-side practitioners benchmark with other organizations and network with colleagues facing similar issues. The event offers executive roundtables, general session speakers, lunch, CPO presentations, analyst overviews and SIG Talks (15-minute discussions in a "Ted Talk" format), as well as our famous Provider Showcase program. SIGnature Hybrid Events are powerful one-day meetings in which buy-side practitioners benchmark with other organizations and network with colleagues facing similar issues. This hybrid event offers an Executive Roundtable, General Session Speakers offering training and practical, implementable tools, CPO Presentations, Analyst Overviews, and SIG Talks (15-minute discussions in a "Ted Talk" format). This event runs simultaneously in an in-person and virtual format so delegates on-site will experience the same programming for those online. Our day will wrap with a Networking session to allow all delegates the opportunity to connect. In-person participants will visit our Provider Showcase sponsor tables where our providers will showcase their industry expertise, all while enjoying a happy hour reception. Our virtual attendees can meet one-to-one or one-to-many for more targeting networking as well as enjoy sponsor demos or explore sponsor booths.
