Governing Service Provider Relationships: Tips for Protecting Your Deal after the Ink Is Dry

Companies are increasingly relying on third parties to provide critical services and technology, taking great care and often spending significant sums of money negotiating and preparing these detailed contracts. This creates new challenges for managing these vitally important relationships. Often after a contract is signed, the legal focus ends, putting carefully negotiated and documented rights at risk of not being enforced, or the actual relationship that develops between the customer and service provider may look nothing like what was envisioned when the contract was executed.
