Dan Symon is the First Deputy Director of the NYC Mayor’s Office of Contract Services (MOCS) where he is leading the development of NYC’s Procurement and Sourcing Solutions Portal (PASSPort) that will transform the City’s procurement sector. Dan brings his experience serving as Executive Director of the Health and Human Services Accelerator initiative which transformed the procurement operations for $4 Billion in New York City spend through a network of service providers that work directly with City residents. Prior to MOCS and Accelerator, Dan served in various government executive roles, managing multi-million dollar initiatives and multi-billion dollar procurement and financial management operations.
