We are pleased to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the second-annual Future of Sourcing Awards, which will take place on October 16 at the Fall Global Executive Summit in Carlsbad, California.
The Future of Sourcing Awards program celebrates individuals and companies that are transforming, innovating and leading the sourcing and outsourcing industry. The Awards recognize team accomplishments in the following critical categories:
- Third Party Management
- Supplier Performance
- Talent Management
The winner of each award will represent the best example of innovation in each category, showing the greatest achievement in terms of fundamentally changing the nature of their business. In addition, the event will include two individual awards—the Rising Star and Sourcing Star awards to recognize individuals who have demonstrated ingenuity, initiative and innovation in their careers.
In 2018, the inaugural Future of Sourcing Awards program was held in Rancho Mirage, California, at SIG’s Global Executive Summit. Nine teams received awards in eight categories. Two individual awards and a Lifetime Achievement Award were presented, and five people were inducted into the Sourcing Supernova Hall of Fame. The complete list of winners and finalists in each category, along with the details about their innovative entries and photos from the event are available on the website.
Last year’s finalists in the team categories were given the opportunity to present on the details of their innovative projects. Curious to see what entries made it into the finalist round? Browse the SIG Resource Center to get a better idea of what kind of projects made the cut!
More information on the nomination process, selection criteria and entry requirements can be found on the Future of Sourcing Awards website. A variety of sponsorships are also available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Nominations are open to both buy-side and sell-side companies and there is no fee to submit a nomination. The deadline to apply is May 15, 2019.
