If you’re a procurement technology provider familiar with SIG and the Global Executive Summit this fall, we hope you’ve also heard of us at Spend Matters.
If not, we won’t fault you.
Spend Matters is the leading global procurement technology media, analyst and research firm. Combining daily news coverage with subscription research, deep technology analysis, and one-to-one advisory services, Spend Matters provides meaningful insight and tailored solutions for procurement buying organizations, consultants, investors and solution providers.
Each year, Spend Matters releases the annual ‘50 Procurement Providers to Know’ and ‘50 Procurement Providers to Watch’ lists. The lists are made up of — you guessed it — 100 vendors determined by the entire Spend Matters analyst team to represent the best of the commercial providers that serve enterprise-level procurement organizations. Plus, the ‘Future 5’ list — 5 outstanding procurement technology startups with innovative technology prowess, momentum and staying power.
This year marks the sixth annual release of the ‘50 to Know’ and ‘50 to Watch’, and we are beyond thrilled to be doing it LIVE in conjunction with the SIG Global Executive Summit. The lists will be published on Tuesday, October 12. Any vendor present at the Summit who is also on one of the lists will receive their award plaque (in person!) from Spend Matters. We’re excited to pose for photos with those vendors present and share the good news all over Spend Matters social accounts.
So, you may be asking yourself, “How can I get on the lists?!” Good question. The first criteria for consideration is to make sure your procurement technology organization has a free listing in the Almanac, the Spend Matters free procurement vendor directory. If you do already, great! Just make sure it’s up to date. If you don’t, what are you waiting for? Get started here ASAP.
Some more information on the “how” of each list can be found here. An exciting part of each year’s release is tracking the movement of providers — in 2020, eight vendors took the leap from the ‘Watch’ to the ‘Know’ list, and two vendors were included in the ‘50 to Know’ on their very first appearance.
Plus, Spend Matters will also be present in the Innovation Hall at the Summit with a booth where we’ll be doing demos of our new RFI tool, Spend Matters TechMatchSM. And our Lead Research Analyst Nick Heinzmann will even be hosting a session on ‘Achieving Real Results on ESG Initiatives’, including examples and key takeaways from our latest research to help organizations map the right vendors’ capabilities to their unique ESG and sustainability challenges (e.g., carbon emission data collection with suppliers).
If you need another reason to check out the Summit (but how could you?), read up on the agenda and those details here. Registration is free for SIG members. We look forward to seeing you in Carlsbad this October — don’t forget to stop by and say hi!
SIG has teamed up with Spend Matters to provide members access to Spend Matters’ TechMatch(SM) and associated knowledge base (Insider and PRO subscriptions) at a discounted rate.
Morgan Zombolas, Marketing Engagement Manager, Spend Matters
Morgan spent the first six years of her career working in marketing and agency operations at a small firm in Chicago’s northern suburbs. While there, she supported client services for the Gatorade account, working on various youth experiential marketing projects. She also managed several back-end processes related to accounting and human resources. Now at Azul Partners as the Marketing Engagement Manager, Morgan helps support the day-to-day marketing efforts of both the Spend Matters network and MetalMiner. She has a B.A. in Communication Studies from Elmhurst College. In her free time, Morgan enjoys playing with her two older yet rambunctious dogs, traveling to visit family in Europe and watching her favorite hockey team, the Vegas Golden Knights.
