How to Write an SOW, Win Over your Stakeholders, Increase Your Value and Avoid Litigation

Do you find yourself in the following scenario? You have won over the stakeholders in the business unit and have begun to think the hard part is done. But as you sit down to collaborate on gathering requirements and writing an effective statement of work (SOW) in addition to the governance terms, you begin to feel pressure. What if the contract fails? You know the stakeholders will blame you, your CPO will lose faith in you, the contract administrator will have no idea how to properly govern the supplier's performance and you probably won't get a second chance with the business unit again - not to mention the legal ramifications. Don't you wish there were a set of guidelines to help you determine if the requirements are good enough for the supplier to perform well and meet your company's objectives? Well, look no further...in this workshop, Lawrence Kane, a Boeing-designated  IT Sourcing expert, will conduct a hands-on, detailed session in writing a statement of work. Attend this session to learn how you can avoid the estimated 17-40% value leakage that can occur as a result of poorly written SOWs and governance terms. Attendees will be encouraged to share their experiences and will be asked to put principles into practice by completing real-world exercises.
