Christine Delorenzo, Director of Enterprise Operations Strategy for UnitedHealth Group, reviews and recommends operating models that enable simplification, agility, rapid innovation, and business strategy alignment to drive improved quality and growth.  A Leader focused on industry best practices, she began her career in sourcing & procurement.  Christine has led departments up to 250 employees on 5 Continents in unique industries including Healthcare, Medical Device, Life Science, Computing, Technology, Software, Manufacturing, Human Resource, Government, Legal, and Non-Profit.  Her passion is turning vision & mission into achievable objectives to solidify management control and direction of the enterprise.

Peder leads UHG’s ES&P function, which is responsible for partnering with business leaders and stakeholders across UnitedHealth Group, UnitedHealthcare and Optum to support identification, selection and contracting with third-party suppliers. 

As an enterprise function, ES&P helps to ensure UHG has the right supplier base and governance to meets its broad range of business requirements across several categories of goods and services. Prior to UHG, Peder was responsible for global indirect supply management for Medtronic PLC.  He resides in Edina, MN with his wife and three children.

Amy Albus, Manager of Global Resource Management, leads the vendor relations team for the US Legal Editorial group at Thomson Reuters.  She started her career at TR in customer-facing roles, doing legal research and training, then moved to an operations role requiring project management and business analysis. Her team is responsible for business process sourcing, vendor relationship management, contract negotiations, risk management and quality and process improvement initiatives. 

Bill Sedoff

Director, Global Indirect Procurement

Bill Sedoff is Director, Global Indirect Procurement at Ecolab with current responsibility for Ecolab’s Commercial Digital Solutions (CDS) category. 

In his current role, he provides leadership, direction, development, and execution of the negotiation strategy for Ecolab’s CDS Divison.  This division is focused on client facing solutions, connected devices, IOT, B2B portals, and data analytics providing industry leading solutions for Ecolab’s customers. 

Over the past 8 years with Ecolab Bill has led procurement categories inclusive of: HR (Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Temp Labor, Training, Payroll and Compensation), Light Fleet (consisting of 13,000 Sales and Service vehicles for North America), and Global IT (sourcing of Software, Hardware, Services and Telecom).  Bill implemented an MSP and VMS strategy for IT contingent labor in 2014 and was the root for Ecolab’s 2018 global deployment of an MSP and VMS for all contingent labor categories across the organization. 

Prior to joining Ecolab in 2010, Bill worked at Target in various roles including; Accounting, Audit, Supply Chain, IT and his final 6 years as Manager in Technology Acquisition where he and his team were responsible for $300M - $1B of IT spend. 

Bill graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a B.A. in Business Administration and Accounting.

Optum Experience Center Showcase Tour

The Showcase is an interactive library that Optum uses, in a tour-like capacity, to highlight the Optum story, their five business capabilities and the products and services they use to help people live healthier lives and help make the health system work better for everyone.  The Showcase utilizes the latest technology to bring this story to life while the Optum briefing team crafts a custom experience for each group.
